Hello my dear friends,
Last Thursday evening (late) we arrived to The Netherlands. Stayed till Sunday at my parents. Went to Martine's (10) birthday party on Saturday (Tienne you are a supergirl). My girls are with my parents now and having a great time.
It is now Tuesday morning and I'm staying with my brother in Amsterdam. In the meantime I have seen some of my friends and I will see more today and later this week.
It's nice to see my family and friends again, but it is restless going from one place to the other all the time. Think I will not stay to long. I will either book a last minute vacation or go back home.
Don't get me wrong it is absolutely great to see everybody, to go to the familiar places, to enjoy the Dutch way of life, eat fricandel, stroopwafel, Dutch cheese and tonight there is even "shoarma" sheduled (with excellent company by the way).
I will deffinily not leave before I've done all I wanted. Next week are the summer parties (vierdaagse) in Nijmegen. Something I have missed a couple of years now. Maybe I will stay till then.
