My first solo flight - Take Off!

Hello everybody,

It is Easter and absolutely spring here in the Alps. We are really enjoying the good weather. Last Saturday we had our first BBQ of the year together with Albert. He left yesterday morning and yesterday afternoon my friend Kyra and her family (3 boys in 6, 7 and 9 years old) arrived. It is a house full, but at the same time a lot of fun!

Starting next week the girls will have 2 weeks off. We will spend the last week in the Netherlands, and we are now brainstorming for next week. There are a few ideas, staying at home and enjoy as much as possible the surroundings before we move to the Netherlands, going to the Côte d’Azur, or take a couple of days to drive to the Netherlands and visit nice villages and castles, stay where we want to stay. This is the more adventurous idea.

It took me a while to get used to the idea of moving back to the Netherlands. Naturally I will miss many beautiful things here in France, but I can always go back to visit, knowing that once I called this my home. It has been a wonderful experience for all of us.

Now I am a kind of ready to move on (although spring and summer is always great here). I’m ready to continue the route, to build on the relationship with Albert and to be close to my friends and family in the Netherlands. One day we will move again to discover an other beautiful and exciting place on the planet.

Life is beautiful

Lots of love

Courage comes from wanting to do it well. Security comes from
knowing you can do it well. Confidence comes from having done it well.

Small things, done in great love, bring joy and peace.

Choose the way of life. Choose the way of love. Choose the way of
caring. Choose the way of goodness. It's up to you. It's your choice.
