My first solo flight - Take Off!

Hello my friends,

It is about time for an update. A lot has happened in the past weeks. Even more people came to visit us, expected and unexpected. I did a short trip to San Diego, which was a lot of fun. During my way over I met Nicky a great person, we got along really well, the whole flight we talked about everything women talk about. Than she and her husband took me to my hotel. I still email with her and there is just a good connection. I worked hard and it was good to see my friends from the industry. On my way back I met Lars, a very nice guy, and I spent my trip to Amsterdam with him. It looks like I met 2 wonderful people that will stay in my life for a bit longer; at least I hope they will. It is just great to meet people while travelling.

In France things go well, although many things are happening. The weather is still magnificent 25 degrees. Yesterday I took the girls to a lake between Vizille and la Mur. We walked, than had lunch on a terrace, and on our way back we discovered a wonderful castle in Vizille with a magnificent park around it. We had an excellent time. I was lying in the grass and the kids were playing. I honestly felt that I was thoroughly enjoying life to the fullest. I really realized that this day was honestly one of the best days.

I found a new girl au-pair, or actually she found me. Her name is Sylvie and I am sure you will here more about her. The kids are going to the Netherlands as off December 18th. I want to go on vacation, but have no plans yet. Any suggestions where to spend Christmas and New Year?

Take care & be safe,

Mina
